User pill selector scopes tabs, projects, and initiatives per user.
Option B — Per-person satellite artifacts Q2 2026
Each team member gets their own pre-configured artifact in their Claude satellite project.
Option C — Live DATA via I-62 REST bridge Phase 5
When I-62 R2-D2 REST bridge is live, each artifact fetches scoped data server-side.
How each governance rule reaches Claude across the four surfaces — and where embedded copies drift. Carrier policy from the 2026-06-28 cross-surface analysis. FETCH-LIVE = pulled from Alexandria at runtime (no drift). EMBED-MINIMAL = pasted into project instructions (propagation tax). HARD-GATE = enforceable in Code hooks (not yet built). DETECTIVE = caught by periodic audit.
Surface reality (ADR-003 §2.2): Claude web UI + Projects cannot reach Alexandria at runtime, so rules must be embedded there. Cowork + Claude Code reach Alexandria live; Code can hard-gate via hooks. The protocol harness is Cowork-first / Code-capable / web-Projects paste-degraded.

Keystone & current lag
I-84 (Alexandria MCP Server) is the keystone — it makes FETCH-LIVE uniform across Cowork + Code and retires the connector fail-open caveat (AP-3). Largest current drift: EAB canonical v1.12 vs satellites trailing (~4 versions un-propagated), addressed by the in-progress v1.12 migration. Status-doc section 2.3 debt: cleared 2026-06-28. Hard-gates: not yet built (Code hooks deferred under I-88/WS-15).
Company overview, market position, service categories, and organizational principles.
Origin & founding
Bernardo Consulting Group LLC (BCG) is a physical security design consulting firm headquartered in Denton, Texas, operating as a fully remote team. The firm formally incorporated in 2024, though its core team began hyperscaler data center security work in 2020 under another firm. BCG's primary market is hyperscale data center physical security design — the kind of facilities operated by the world's largest cloud and technology companies.
Gregory Bernardo's 30-year career arc is the origin story of BCG. He moved through Vicon Industries, Honeywell, and Ross & Baruzzini before founding Aella — a security consulting firm he ran for six years and 180+ projects. Each stop added a layer: product management depth at Vicon, enterprise-scale exposure at Honeywell, A&E rigor and template methodology at Ross & Baruzzini, and independent firm-building at Aella. BCG is the culmination — a firm purpose-built for hyperscale data center physical security at the highest level of the market. BCG earned its hyperscaler relationship not through pitching but through performance; BCG's Revit models were adopted as the client's official reference drawings for standardized security designs across their data center portfolio.
What BCG does
BCG is a design-only sub-consultant. It does not self-perform construction and does not hold a general contractor relationship with end clients. It delivers services through prime A&E firms — including Arcadis, HKS, Gensler, and S+R — as a specialized sub-consultant. BCG's five service categories:
Physical Security Design
Electronic and physical security systems for hyperscale data centers — CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, man-trap sequencing, and integrated systems across large multi-building campuses.
Reference Design Development
Standardized, repeatable security templates that accelerate future projects. BCG's reference designs became a major hyperscaler's portfolio standard — one of BCG's most significant competitive differentiators.
Construction Documentation
Production-ready Revit models and drawing sets coordinated with architectural, electrical, and civil disciplines. Revit proficiency is a core capability requirement for BCG's design staff.
Construction Administration
Submittal review, RFI response, site observation, and commissioning support across active construction sites — multi-building campuses with overlapping construction schedules.
Peer Review & Advisory
Third-party review of security designs, owner's representative services, and technical consultation for clients seeking independent validation.
Market position
BCG competes alongside ZBeta (names Fortune 50 clients including Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, and Meta), Guidepost Solutions (500+ data center projects, global presence), Exante360, and ADRM Security. BCG's positioning is built on lean operations, template-based delivery efficiency, and a "stewardship philosophy" — protecting the project and the client's interests rather than just executing scope.

Four organizational design principles
① Build to Sell
The firm is being built with the discipline, documentation, and institutional integrity of a company that could be acquired. Everything is documentable, repeatable, and legible to someone who was not in the room when it was built.
② Redundancy at Every Level
No single point of failure in people, process, or system. Every function has a backup, every employee is cross-trainable, and no client relationship lives in one person's head.
③ Employee Ownership & Profit Sharing
Employees share in firm outcomes, not just their own project delivery. Travel batching, margin protection, and process efficiency are everyone's business because they directly fund the profit-sharing pool.
④ Process Before People
Established workflows, documented standards, and repeatable processes take precedence over individual preference or improvisation. If something is not documented, it does not exist as institutional knowledge.
